Packaging Design
For this project, I was challenged to work outside my comfort zone. This was a collaboration project that required me to design and package a 3D printed object based on a foreign country for the Cooper Hewitt museum. The country I was assigned was France, so a part of the project requirement was to create for a French audience.

When coming up with an object to 3D print, my partner and I decided to base our design off of the 19th century French Designer Ilonka Karasz who designed candlesticks. With our 3D printed candlestick, my partner and I decided to make our package design a candle making instruction manual to bring with you to the catacombs underneath Paris, France. Our package takes on the form of an old book and gives the consumer a background on the original artist, a guide to the catacombs, and a step by step guide on how to make your own candle.
